Privacy Policy

Spendiqa can store subscription details, payment history, account email addresses you enter, reminder settings, notes, and payment-method metadata such as a nickname, card brand, last four digits, bank name, and expiry date.

Spendiqa is not designed to store full payment-card numbers, CVV codes, PINs, or account passwords.

Spendiqa uses Google OAuth for sign-in. You authenticate with Google, and Spendiqa does not receive or store your Google password.

OAuth access credentials are used by the app to access only the Google services and scopes you authorize.

When you sign in, Spendiqa keeps a small account record on its own server: your Google account ID, your email address, the date you first signed in, and when you last used the app. It is used to operate the service, for example to see how many people use Spendiqa and to manage your free trial and paid plan.

This record does not contain your subscriptions, payments, or other app data, which stay in your Google Drive. It is stored in a database hosted by Neon in the EU (Frankfurt) and is deleted when you delete your Spendiqa account.

If you buy Spendiqa Pro, the account record also stores your plan: whether you bought Lifetime Pro and, for Yearly Pro, your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, the subscription status, the renewal date and, after a failed renewal, when the grace period ends.

Spendiqa Pro is sold through Stripe and Link (link.com), which act as the merchant of record: they process the payment, handle VAT, send receipts and let you manage or cancel a yearly plan.

You enter your payment details, name, email address and billing address directly with Stripe and Link. Spendiqa never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe and Link handle this information under their own privacy policies (stripe.com/privacy and link.com/privacy).

Spendiqa only receives what it needs to activate your plan, such as the payment status and the IDs listed above. Your subscriptions and other app data are never sent to Stripe or Link.

Your Spendiqa subscription data is stored in the private Google Drive app-data area associated with your Google account. This area is intended for application data and is not a normal visible Drive file.

If you enable Google Calendar reminders, Spendiqa can create, update, and remove renewal events in your Google Calendar.

Calendar integration is optional and can be disabled for individual subscriptions or through your reminder settings.

Spendiqa is a tracking tool and not a bank, payment processor, or card vault.

Payment records can be entered manually or created automatically from scheduled renewals. When automatic payment registration is enabled, Spendiqa may mark a scheduled renewal as auto-recorded if the assigned saved card is still valid based on its stored expiry date. Spendiqa does not verify the charge with your bank or card issuer, so you should verify actual charges with the relevant provider or financial institution.

The current version of Spendiqa does not request access to Gmail or scan your email.

Spendiqa does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising.

Google user data is not transferred or disclosed to third parties except when necessary to provide the app's requested functionality, comply with applicable legal obligations, protect the security of the service, or when you explicitly authorize such sharing.

Spendiqa does not transfer Google Workspace user data to third-party AI/ML services for the purpose of training, improving, or developing generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Spendiqa uses HTTPS/TLS encryption for data transmitted between your browser, Spendiqa, and Google services.

Access to Google services is controlled through Google OAuth 2.0 and limited to the OAuth scopes required for the features you choose to use.

Spendiqa subscription data is stored in the private Google Drive app-data area associated with your Google account rather than in a publicly accessible Drive file.

Spendiqa does not receive or store your Google password.

Access to Google user data is limited to the functionality required to provide Spendiqa's services, and Google user data is not used for advertising.

Spendiqa stores application data in the private Google Drive app-data area associated with your Google account.

You can edit or delete information within Spendiqa. You can also revoke Spendiqa's Google permissions through your Google account.

Revoking access prevents Spendiqa from accessing connected Google services until you reconnect.

Application data is retained only for as long as needed to provide Spendiqa's functionality or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Your account record (Google account ID, email address, sign-up date, and last visit) is stored on Spendiqa’s server and is deleted when you delete your Spendiqa account in Settings.

Hosting and authentication infrastructure may process technical information needed to operate the service, such as request logs, IP addresses, device information, and security events.

Google processes data according to the Google services you choose to connect.

Account records are stored with Neon, a database provider, in the EU.

Payments for Spendiqa Pro are processed by Stripe and Link (link.com).

You can edit or delete information inside Spendiqa and revoke Spendiqa's Google permissions from your Google account.

Revoking access can prevent Google Drive or Google Calendar features from working until you reconnect.

This policy may be updated as Spendiqa changes. Material changes should be reflected on this page before or when the updated functionality is released.
